After running from the Lord for most of his young adult life, Pastor Mike encountered the radical, authentic love and truth of the Gospel and was amazingly rescued and transformed- dropping the chains of sin and embracing freedom and new life in Christ.
He and his wife Ali have 4 kids, 4 grandkids, and have served the Lord in ministry for almost 20 years.
Pastor Mike helped lead the team that planted Untethered Church in 2018.

Shane Breeden
Pastor of Adult Education and Discipleship
“Keep Jesus center stage.”
Shane and Elsie Breeden married in 2018 with a purpose to serve as one in the Kingdom. In various capacities, God has grown them and His purpose has carried them. No matter what, they’re in this together for Him. Their different backgrounds, experiences, and callings complement one another in this mission to preach the Gospel. Joining the Untethered family and leadership team in 2022, Shane leads Wednesday evening service, assists in men’s group activities, and discipleship classes.
They host weekly podcasts with the intentions to share the Gospel with unbelievers and to edify believers. Elsie also hosts her own podcast: 12 minutes of unpopular Scriptural applications for the child of God.

Brett Sims
Youth Pastor
Brett and Tabitha started their journey serving Christ together in 2009. Their passion and focus is for this generation of young people to develop a relationship with, and become disciples of Jesus. Brett and his family joined the Untethered team in 2023. They have two wonderful children, Noah who loves Jesus and loves giving hugs, and Brileigh who has a radiant smile and loves to sing for Jesus.
Hannah Collins
Worship Team Director
Hannah leads our Untethered Worship Team. Singing for much of her life, she has moved into the role as mentor to our incredible team. From the second Hannah opens her mouth the Spirit pours out on His people. Hannah is now molding this younger generation with this same fire and passion.

Malik Ware
Tech Team Director/ Turning Point Leader
Malik is gifted in a variety of ministry roles, but his primary focus is leading our tech team. This ministry is vital in this generation. Malik serves by working with his team to create an atmosphere for communicating the Gospel through the fusion of technical and creative arts. This includes sound, media, lighting, and broadcasts.
